Electronic Arts and BioWare are preparing for a bombastic end to the year. This is because they are working on the development of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a fantasy RPG (following the previous ones) that promises strong emotions for all lovers of this type of games and the Dragon Age series.

In this story that will decide the fate of Thedas forever, Rook will have to rise up, join a team and create relationships to become the unexpected leader others believe in.

Each companion in Dragon Age: The Veilguard brings their experience to the battlefield, summoning the courage to stand together and face the most impossible odds. Throughout their adventures, players will be able to mix and match different team combinations of two of the seven companions at a time, to adapt to certain challenges and put together powerful combinations that can change the course of any battle. The game’s companion list includes:

  • Bellara, a creative and romantic Veil Jumper obsessed with uncovering ancient secrets.
  • Davrin, a cunning and charming Gray Warden who made a name for himself as a monster hunter.
  • Emmrich, a necromancer of Nevarra’s Mourn Watch who is complete with a skeletal assistant, Manfred.
  • Harding, the dwarf scout, returns to the fight as a companion with her big heart, a positive outlook and a ready bow – as well as unexpected magical powers.
  • Lucanis, a prepared and pragmatic assassin, descendant of the House of Crows, a criminal organization renewed across Thedas.
  • Neve, a cynic fighting for a better future, both as a private detective and a member of the rebel Shadow Dragons of Tevinter.
  • Taash, a dragon hunter allied with the Lords of Fortune who lives for adventure and doesn’t mind taking risks.

What is already known about The Veilguard is that the player can be accompanied by these 7 different companions, each with their own skills, characteristics and gender. One of the interesting facts already confirmed by those responsible for the game is that our companions will be what is called Pansexual, that is, regardless of their sex, they will only feel attracted to our character.
